It's February: Welcome to the Home of the Thundercats

altIt's February--GROUND HOG DAY is February 2nd. So what do you think, will we have 6 more weeks of this unusual wintery weather?  No matter what nature decides to throw at us it will not matter because at Tyendinaga Public School the hard working students and teachers are unaffected by the weather. To them, it is business as usual.
Remember to read the quotes about character. These change each month and although it requires a little thought to get some of the meanings, the quotes are often either fun or uplifting.

Boomerang Lunches
alt  My Boomerang is Coming Back. Our new initiative which has improved our recycling program and  is making our students more aware of the amount of packaging we use as a community continues. The Boomerang program encourages children to bring recyclable materials back home and to reduce the amount of recyclable material they actually use. We continue to do a great job. WAY TO GO TYENDINAGA.
