THS Annual Christmas Auction Crushes Previous Records

The premier event of the Festive Season yielded an unprecedented level of generosity from the THS student body and community partners!   On Wednesday December 14th, from 8:30-11:00 a.m. THS hosted a packed house for the Annual Christmas Auction

This year, students, staff, parents and community members broke last year's record of $8000.00 and generated -- wait for it...

$12, 555.16 for the Kinsmen Toy Drive and Salvation Army local charities.

THS would like to thank all Tigers who gave generously at this special event, for a wonderful time of spirited merriment.  It was an awesome time, and host Auctioneer Jim Nelson did a fabulous job as always!

A very special thank you to all of generous donors who supported this very worthy initiative.  This was an amazing way to kick off the Festive Spirit at THS!

THS Remembers Those Who Gave Their Today For Our Tomorrow

Friday November 11th, THS took time to honour those brave women and men who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us to have a better tomorrow.  And, to those who are dedicating their lives to serving their country, our respect and appreciation is greater than words can express.

Students, staff and special guests will joined together from 10:00 - 11:05 Friday morning for our annual Remembrance Day Ceremony.  A special program filled with multimedia, readings, and artistic interpretations was presented to help us focus, pause, reflect and remember.

We were pleased to have Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Director McGall join us for this special event.  We remind all Tigers, to wear your poppy with pride and remembrance as it is much more than a flower- it is a symbol of sacrifice and hope for tomorrow,

OFSAA Silver Medal In Cross Country Captured By Rachel Faulds

THS is proud to congratulate Rachel Faulds for her OFSAA Silver Medal Senior Girls Cross Country.  Rachel ran an outstanding race in Ottawa and, and yet again, established herself as an athlete to respect.  Known as one of the most challenging events to achieve an OFSAA medal in given the fierce competition, Rachel has achieved Tiger Excellence and we are thrilled that she has brought home this honour to our school.

Please congratulate Rachel on this outstanding achievement.  Coaches Tripp and Faulds - you too have much to be proud of!
