Welcome to Queen Victoria School

School PictureQueen Victoria School, the oldest operating school in Belleville, located on the east side of the Moira River, serves approximately 300 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Facilities include a library resource centre with computer lab and a well-equipped resource room. The shaded, spacious playground has equipment for all ages. At QVS, our Respect Program assists students in developing an appreciation and understanding of  one another's differences.  Growing with Character is a valued part of the curriculum and celebrated during Bullying Prevention Week and Random Act of Kindness week.  The school works to promote home and school partnerships with parental involvement in the community walks, Open House BBQ,  Breakfast Club,  Kindergarten welcome program, Homework Club, our annual pancake breakfast, class and school newsletters, and Terrific Kid assemblies.
