School Schedule Change—Two Nutritional Breaks for 2010-2011
Our new schedule for 2010-2011 to provide two nutritional breaks was shared and supported by School Council on June 15. Students will have 3 blocks of instruction and two 20 minute recesses, each followed by a 20 minute nutritious snack breaks. The first recess break is between 10:10-10:30 with nutritious snack break at 10:30-10:50.
The second recess break is 12:10-12:30, followed by a nutritious snack break at 12:30-12:50. Students will remain on the property for both these breaks. If parents plan to collect students for lunch, students can be collected at 12:10 to return by 12:50.
School will start at 8:10, with supervision on the yard continuing to begin at 8:00 a.m. Information about the two nutritional breaks was attached to the June 24, 2010 newsletter inserted in the report card envelope, to help in your planning for the fall.

Information about our 2 nutrional breaks was carried home by students in their Report Card envelope. Thank you for returning the Page 3 Response Page to the school before the school office closes for the summer July 5.
The school office re-opens on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
