The Education Quality and Accountability Office is an independent agency which administers provincial testing of Ontario students at both the elementary and secondary levels.

Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)
Successful completion of the OSSLT is a graduation requirement in the province of Ontario. The OSSLT is written by grade 10 students in the spring of each year. The test focuses on students' reading and writing skills.

Grade 9 Math Assessment
Each year every student in a grade 9 Academic or Applied math course is required to write the EQAO Math Test near the end of the semester. The test focuses on the curriculum expectations for these grade 9 math courses. Students will need pencils, a ruler and a scientific calculator in order to write the test.

For more information about either of these assessments, please visit the EQAO website.
